The director of the University of Algiers 3, Professor Khaled Rouaski, attended today, Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the University’s Intensive Language Teaching Center in Ben Aknoun, the launch of the exams for the first training session of teachers according to their level. This session had been launched last June with the participation of 160 teachers. The tests covered the four skills: writing, listening comprehension, speaking and reading.
The university director also supervised the final preparations for launching the second session courses for teachers next November. The center is preparing to welcome 500 teachers for English language training.
On this occasion, the university director urged the center’s officials to take up the challenge of generalizing English, which is an essential requirement to raise the University of Algiers 3 to the highest level. He felt that proficiency in English will open promising prospects for university teachers and students, and allow it to keep up with developments and acquire the characteristics of world universities.
It should be noted that the Intensive Language Teaching Center is experiencing sustained activities to make the teaching of English widespread.
