The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Kamal Bedari, presided over a ceremony today, Monday, November 27, 2023 at the Headquarters of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to award the “Study in Algeria” label obtained by fifteen (15) university institutions and university residences at the national level, in the presence of executives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, and thirty (30) attachés to diplomatic missions in Algeria.
The Director of the University of Algiers 3, Professor Khaled Rouaski, received the “Study in Algeria” label as well as the Star of Excellence awarded to him based on the results of the work of the National Steering Committee responsible for evaluating university institutions and university residences.
This honorary distinction for the University of Algiers 3 reflects the university’s commitment to welcoming incoming international students from friendly countries as part of government scholarships offered by the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, by providing a suitable environment for academic achievement and optimal support through the provision of quality training according to international standards, which allows the university to move forward to obtain a rank commensurate with the prestige of its faculties and institutes, and enhances the university’s role in attracting more international students in the future.
