Today, Wednesday November 22nd 2023, the Director of the University of Algiers 3, Professor Khaled Rouaski, inaugurated the proceedings of the first International Scientific Conference on Sports and Health organized by the Motor Performance Sciences and Pedagogical Interventions Laboratory in coordination with the Arab Society of Biomechanics and Motor Behavior and the Arab Society of Sports Management and the Institute of Physical Education and Sports.
The conference was attended by guests of honor from various bodies and institutions, and the participation of professors, experts and national and international universities, as well as a crowd of students from various levels.
The conference proceedings began with the recitation of verses from the Quran and listening to the national anthem and observing a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs of Gaza.
In his opening speech to the conference, the Director of the University, Professor Khaled Rouaski, emphasized the importance of organizing such international scientific conferences that enhance the university’s standing in its external environment as a space for providing insights, suggestions and recommendations that would serve and develop society towards promising horizons. He announced the official launch of the proceedings of the international scientific conference, wishing success to the international scientific conference.
The program of the International Scientific Conference on Sports and Health was distinguished by several scientific sessions, workshops and intensive activities of presentations and lectures by professors from foreign and various Algerian universities. It should be noted that the international conference lasts for two days, November 22nd and 23rd, and is expected to reach important scientific recommendations that serve sports and health.
