The Director of the University of Algiers 3, Professor Khaled Rouaski, received tonight on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, members of the wilaya office of the National Union of Algerian Students (UNEA), as part of a series of consultation meetings with the various student organizations approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The director stated to the members of the wilaya office that paying attention to students’ concerns is of paramount importance and that the university’s doors are open for meetings, consultations, and strengthening a culture of dialogue. Professor Rouaski specified that the University of Algiers 3 has established a comprehensive plan to consecrate the ministry’s reform strategy that will achieve all ambitions, including students’ concerns.
Then, all members of UNEA’s wilaya office intervened on all the concerns and demands related to educational issues such as registration for a second bachelor’s degree and master’s degree, university transfers, internship and study, and scholarships ening new specialties, as well as other issues such as transportation, cleanliness and security.
The vice-presidents and deans of faculties then provided answers to all the students’ concerns. The director, Professor Rouaski, also provided detailed explanations on all the points raised by the students.
In conclusion, he called on UNEA students to strongly contribute to achieving the ambitions of the University of Algiers 3, particularly strengthening its ranking at the national and international levels.
