The Director of the University of Algiers 3, Professor Khaled Rouaski, received in the afternoon of Monday, October 16, 2023 at the headquarters of the rectorate, members of the wilaya bureau of the General Union of Algerian Students (UGEA), as part of regular meetings with representatives of student organizations approved by the Ministry of Higher Education.
During this meeting, the president recalled that the university pays particular attention to students’ concerns, hence the regular organization of these exchange and dialogue meetings with their representatives. He reaffirmed the total availability of the administration to take into account their grievances and proposals in order to improve living and studying conditions within the university.
For their part, members of the UGEA’s wilaya bureau presented several demands relating in particular to educational and social aspects. They insisted on points such as improving catering and transportation services as well as expanding the cultural and sports offer for students.
In response, the president assured them that their concerns would be passed on to the relevant departments in order to provide adequate answers. He also promised that additional efforts would be made to guarantee better studying and living conditions within the university.
In summary, this meeting took place in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and responsible dialogue.
