Professor Khaled Rouaski, the university’s director, welcomed Turki Messaoud, the president of the amateur sports club of Mouloudia d’Alger, and Mr. Abdelaziz Derouaz, the president of the handball section. This meeting was part of the preparations for a framework agreement between the university and the club.
The university director emphasized the importance of cooperation with the amateur sports club of Mouloudia d’Alger, which reflects the university’s openness to its external environment, and stressed that the university seeks to enhance cooperation levels with all partners in various fields.
During the reception, the provisions of the agreement were discussed, allowing the sports club to use the university’s sports facilities. The club has 17 sports branches and more than 3200 professional athletes.
It was also noted that the club benefits from specialized coaching and pedagogical support from professors at the Institute of Physical Education and Sports, as well as the involvement of doctoral students through accompanying contracts to supervise various youth categories, in addition to master’s and bachelor’s students for field internships.
Messrs. Turki and Derouaz expressed their great satisfaction with this cooperation between the university and the club, marking an important step towards closer collaboration in various sports fields between the University of Algiers 3 and the amateur sports club of Mouloudia d’Alger.
