As part of the consultative meetings with the various unions and in application of the instructions of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Kamel Beddari, the Director of the University of Algiers 3, Professor Khaled Rouaski, received on Tuesday, December 13, 2023 at the headquarters of the university presidency in Dely Brahim, members of the trade union branch of the National Council of Professors of Higher Education (CNES) of the University of Algiers 3, in the presence of the administrative team of the university.
The university director, Professor Khaled Rouaski, stressed in his opening speech to the meeting that consultations with unions provide an important opportunity to learn about the concerns and demands of teachers as well as proposed solutions. And he added that dialogue remains a gain for all and strengthens the stability of the university and helps provide all the conditions for implementing the reform strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, of which the University of Algiers 3 is a pioneer in its implementation.
The members of the University of Algiers 3 union branch then spoke at length to raise all concerns and demands, from pedagogical issues, issues of scientific research and external relations, as well as issues relating to the general secretariat and investment and development projects of the university.
The vice-rectors, deans, institute director and university secretary general then intervened, each in their respective areas, to provide clarification on everything that was raised by the members of the union branch.
The university director, Professor Khaled Rouaski, intervened at length in response to address all concerns with explanations, appreciating all the suggestions made, and promising to implement everything that was agreed upon. He took the opportunity to call for the need for everyone’s commitment to serving the university and enhancing its status, and implementing the comprehensive and pioneering reforms of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research by establishing an innovative and creative university in the service of national development.
